01 — Why MyPicLab

Built for indies. Run like a studio.

Get paid your way

We process customer payments on our Stripe and pay you via your preferred method — ACH, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or paper check. No Stripe Connect onboarding, no third-party tax forms.

Print + book fulfillment

Posters, canvas, alumaboard, etched glass, hardcover and softcover books. Lulu + Prodigi handle global fulfillment. You don't touch a printer.

Built-in distribution

Every market page features its photographers. Players and parents searching for shoots find you — without paying for ads.

Gallery tooling that works

Bulk upload, auto-tagging by team and game, watermark previews, downloadable raw files for purchased shots.

You own your work

You retain copyright. We license images only for fulfillment. Pull a shoot at any time.

Designer-grade templates

Customers design with your photo and our magazine-quality templates. The poster comes out of their head, but the photo credit stays with you.

02 — How it works

Apply, upload, get paid.

1

Apply

Tell us about your work and the markets you cover. We review and approve same-week.

2

Pick your payout method

ACH, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or paper check. We handle the customer payment processing; you tell us where to send your share.

3

Upload a shoot

Drag in your gallery, tag teams and games, set prices for prints, posters, and books.

4

Share the link

Send the shoot link to teams and parents. They buy, we fulfill, you get paid on the next payout cycle via your chosen method.

03 — What it costs

No monthly fee. No upload cap.

MyPicLab takes a platform fee per transaction. Everything else — print cost, shipping, payment processing — is itemized at checkout so you always know your take.

Platform fee

15%

of the customer-facing price, after print and shipping costs.

04 — Photographer FAQ

Frequently asked

What kinds of photographers do you work with?

Independents covering high-school sports — football, basketball, soccer, baseball, wrestling, cheer, all of it. Full-time pros, part-time coaches with cameras, and journalism students all welcome. We do require sample work that meets a quality bar.

Do I have to use your gallery tooling, or can I export?

You can do both. Upload raws or hi-res JPEGs to a shoot, sell prints and books through MyPicLab, and still hand off original files to whoever you want. Galleries are private until you publish them.

How fast do I get paid?

We run payout cycles on a regular schedule (twice monthly) and pay you via your chosen method — ACH, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or check. Our 15% platform fee plus card-processing costs are taken at point of sale, so your payout amount is exactly what you see in your studio dashboard.

Can teams or schools get a revenue share?

Yes. When you shoot for a team, you can set a percentage of each sale to route to that team or booster club. Helps schools approve sideline access and keeps everyone aligned.

What if I'm already on SmugMug / Pixieset / etc.?

Many of our photographers use MyPicLab as the print + book sales channel and keep their galleries elsewhere. You can also fully migrate — we have an importer for SmugMug and Pixieset.
